paintingestimators.co.uk are commercial painting estimators working for painting contractors all over the UK. We price painting projects ranging from a few thousand pounds to painting projects of £1M plus.

We are now offering our TWO day tendering and estimating training course for commercial painting contractors, delivered by one of our experienced, commercial painting estimators. The course is a mixture of classroom based 'theory' and 'practical' where you get the opportunity to put into practice everything you have learned.

Course Programme

  1. Where to start when you first receive an invitation to tender for a project.
  2. Identification of all the types of tender documents and what information they will give you regarding the decorations package, so that you can go on to measure and cost the decoration works.
  3. How to measure decoration works for pricing purposes in accordance with the New Rules of Measurement (as followed by all UK quantity surveyors).
    This will include both 'live' measuring a project that you can site visit AND measuring decoration works from paper and digital drawings.
  4. How to cost decoration projects using 'all-in' £/m2 and £/Lm rates.
  5. How to write a professional tender submission letter for submission to the Principal Contractor.

This course offers a unique opportunity for commercial painting contractors to receive professional tendering and estimating training from a current, commercial painting estimator. ALL of our estimators are from painting contracting backgrounds and have a minimum of 35 years experience, so you will be getting the very best information available.
